MINERAL WEALTH OF THE ARCTIC
In the twenty-first century, Russia’s geopolitical interests are consistently moving North – to the Arctic. The Russian government plans to create a powerful mineral resource complex here in the near future on the basis of the development of the Northern Sea Route. Russia ranks first in the world among the Arctic countries-producers of mineral raw materials.
